Computer Geeks is an award-winning IT Managed Service Provider, our mission is to empower businesses with all the technology it needs to embrace new opportunities and avoid tech-related pitfalls.

Our friendly and professional team are passionate about delivering the best possible service to businesses across the UK and solving IT challenges, from efficiently handling service requests via our ticket portal to managing the migration of data from the server to the cloud through projects with our clients, our team work in collaboration to ensure our clients see IT as a force for good, rather than a cause of worry and stress.

Our history

Our Managing Director Nick has a passion for all things technology-related, he completed a degree in Computer Science and began helping individuals with their IT issues. He had an ambition to build a business deeply ingrained with skills and enthusiasm for technology, so Computer Geeks was founded in 2008!

Since then, with Rob joining the board of directors, Computer Geeks has grown to a thriving team that help SMEs to get the most from their IT. We work in partnership with our clients to provide an extension of their business with our friendly team of IT professionals that are available 8am-6pm every business day to help with any IT issues they’re facing.

We know business IT can be everchanging, so we’ve always got our finger on the pulse of new developments within the IT industry to keep our solutions current.

Our culture

At Computer Geeks, we believe in investing in our team and providing them with opportunities to grow and advance their careers. Personal development is important to us, we set aside budget to enable our team to complete exams and training courses such as the Microsoft exams.

We are committed to creating a supportive and collaborative work environment where our team can excel, we’ve recently had our office renovated to empower our team as part of our hybrid-working model with a desk booking app so our team can easily pick the days they want to be in the office. We use Microsoft Teams to efficiently keep in touch, whether we’re in the office or working from home, through the messenger-style chats enabling one-to-one conversations as well as our company-wide group chat and team chats.

What have we been up to?

Here are a few things our team have been up to recently...

We are thrilled to announce that Jim has been promoted to Senior Engineer! 🌟

Jim joined Computer Geeks in 2018 as an apprentice, quickly gaining the necessary knowledge and expertise to move up to the role of Support Engineer.

Jim’s continued hard work, dedication, and skill in providing outstanding support to our clients has not gone unnoticed, we are thrilled to announce Jim’s promotion to the role of Senior Engineer within the Solutions Team. In this new position, Jim will provide second-line support and work on larger projects with our clients.

Jim says, “It’s been a pleasure working with the entire team at Computer Geeks, the overwhelming support from all departments has really helped me develop and excel into the engineer I am today, from apprentice to a member of the Solutions Team. I am excited to begin working in the Solutions Team and to develop my skills further.”

We are incredibly proud of his accomplishments and are confident that he will continue to excel in his new role.

Our Technical Director, Rob, says, “Jim is a fantastic asset to Computer Geeks, embodying our company values with real dedication. I’m delighted to have him join the Solutions Team, where I’m sure he will continue to develop his skillset and deliver consistently great results.”

We recently went to a new Hot Pot and Hand-pulled Noodles restaurant that opened right near our office!

It’s great to get the team all together to enjoy some delicious food after a busy week before the long weekend.

Britain’s 50 Best Managed IT Companies in 2022 🏆

We’re very excited to announce that we picked up an award for a place in Britain’s 50 Best Managed IT Companies in 2022!

Nick and Rob headed to London to attend the awards show which also saw awards given out to suppliers such as Datto, Microsoft and Google.

Out of the 100’s of MSPs that entered the awards application process, which included a 200-question assessment, we were one of 50 MSPs selected for this award!
