Nick, our Managing Director, graduated with a 2:1 degree in Computer Science from the University of Bristol. He’s a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, Windows Server 2016 (MCSA), and a professional member of the Bristol Computer Society (MBCS).
Nick founded Computer Geeks in 2008 with a mission to provide truly professional high-quality IT services. His ambition was to build a business where there was, at its centre, a business deeply ingrained with skills and enthusiasm for technology.
He created a company that deeply understands and aligns to the goals, values and ambitions of its clients and one that always provides a human, friendly and professional service.
Nick’s belief is that that IT is a pillar for business growth – and embracing technology is the way forward.
In his own words, Nick describes our ethos and what you can expect working with Computer Geeks:

Rob is passionate about IT and technology, holds a degree in Forensic Computing from the University of the West of England, and is MCSA certified.
Since graduating, he’s worked in the IT Managed Services Industry and has progressed over the past 10 years through the various tiers of front-line support, IT projects, solution design and technical sales.
Rob is our Technical Director. He’s involved in all aspects of the solution design and sales process. He enjoys meeting with existing and prospective clients; understanding their requirements and discussing the right solutions for them.
Rob keeps his finger on the pulse of new developments within the IT industry, ensuring that Geeks keep updated about new IT solutions and services. He is an enthusiastic advocate about the benefits the right IT solutions can provide for our client’s businesses and really enjoys seeing the transformations to our client’s businesses after helping them to introduce the right changes.
Emily holds a degree in marketing from the University of Plymouth, she has also completed the IDM Certificate in Digital Marketing, MRS Certificate in Market and Social Research, the IDM Award in Direct and Digital Marketing and an industry placement year in the food industry, working in the marketing team.
She joined us in July 2020 in a new role as a Sales & Marketing Executive. Emily supports MD Nick and Technical Solutions Manager Rob with preparing proposals and quotes when required. She also works on the marketing for Computer Geeks which entails planning and creating content for the website, campaigns, social media and marketing materials.
She enjoys that every day is different and looks forward to getting more into the role to assist clients and create engaging content.
Before joining Computer Geeks in 2021, Ross has built up a lot of experience working in multiple roles within the IT industry – to name a few, he has worked as a Project Engineer, Deployment Architect, Solutions Architect and Data Centre Engineer.
As a Project Delivery Engineer, Ross coordinates, monitors, and delivers customer projects such as new installs or migrations. He’s also happy to make the tea and coffee for the office!
Ross enjoys seeing satisfied customers using modern IT solutions and services to make their lives easier, he’s looking forward to using new technologies and learning new skills.
Gregg is passionate about technology and all things IT related – he’s a achieved a degree in Forensic Computing, and joined Computer Geeks as a graduate. Gregg has experience within the NHS working on patient record systems and computer programming.
In his role as Technical Manager at Computer Geeks he provides second line support and ensures that all our customers receive first-rate customer service.
He really enjoys the challenge of the day to day calls and takes a great sense of accomplishment in completing and resolving any challenge he undertakes.
Patrick has a degree in Computing from the University of the West of England. Prior to joining Geeks, he spent six months working for an IT company in New Zealand supporting local businesses and customers. Patrick’s also previously been a Field Technical Engineer at an educational IT company in the UK, which involved travelling to schools offering IT support.
Patrick’s main responsibility is to provide support to Computer Geeks clients. He’ll be working within our team to resolve any day to day issues our customers may have. He prides himself on providing excellent client communications and making sure that our clients are completely satisfied with the support that they have received.
Patrick enjoys learning new things and testing his IT knowledge and abilities; as well as providing a great customer experience for our clients.
Tom started his career in IT as an IT apprentice for a printer company, since then he has worked for a similar MSP, providing senior support and project work for clients, he has also become a VMware Certified Professional and an Acronis Certified Engineer, achieving his Data Centre Virtualisation CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Server+ MTA Networking, Cloud and Server Admin fundamentals.
As a Senior Engineer - Project Support Engineer, Tom provides senior support to clients, he makes sure everything runs swimmingly while providing the best service to our clients.
Tom’s looking forward to working with new technologies, achieving new qualifications, and overcoming any challenges.
Neal has had an interest in technology ever since he was a kid that mainly came from gaming consoles. Neal has worked in several industries he has even worked as an Alpaca shearer, but he has now settled in IT. He is new to working in the IT industry; he has been self-studying and has already achieved a CompTIA A+ certification.
As a Support Team Leader at Computer Geeks, Neal’s main responsibilities include triaging tickets and providing support to our clients. He really enjoys helping people and prides himself on excellent communication and care to all tasks with a friendly nature.
Neal Loves learning new things, he loves getting experience and improving his knowledge and skills. He treats everyday like a school day.
Jim has been very interested in technology throughout his life and achieved a BTEC GCSE IT and Double Distinction in BTEC Level 3 IT.
As a Support Engineer at Computer Geeks, Jim’s main responsibilities include triaging tickets, answering help desk calls, logging tickets, prioritising them and getting all the information required to enable our engineers to quickly and efficiently resolve any problems. Jim also helps our clients with basic troubleshooting steps, and keeps our clients updated about the progress of any issues that they may have.
Jim enjoys helping our customers and provides a friendly, professional service. He loves fixing and preventing problems from occurring again. Jim also thrives on troubleshooting issues that haven't been encountered before, and is always learning about new solutions in order to provide the best service possible to our clients.
Fraser has previously worked as an Account Manager at a Digital Marketing agency and most recently as a Wok Chef, however, after a career swap he joined Computer Geeks as an IT Analyst in 2021. He is new to working in the IT industry and has worked hard to achieve a CompTIA A+ certification.
As a Support Engineer, Fraser provides support for our clients, answering the service desk calls, troubleshooting problems, triaging tickets and resolving issues.
He enjoys learning about the new ways technology can make people’s working lives easier.
Gary joined the team towards the end of 2021, after beginning his career in IT in 2018 working as a Helpdesk Technician and a 1st Line Support Engineer.
As a Support Engineer, Gary provides customer support by phone and email, triaging tickets and resolving issues, ensuring that things work as expected.
Gary enjoys that he’s constantly learning new things, he is currently revising for the 365 and Azure Fundamentals exam! He also loves that no two days are the same here at Computer Geeks.
Jason started his career in Customer Service and then moved into more IT focused roles. Prior to joining Computer Geeks in 2022, he was providing technical support for Microsoft 365 Admin Centre users.
As a Support Engineer, Jason provides first response support to users by responding to emails and answering calls where issues have first been reported to us. He sometimes resolves an issue within that initial contact, otherwise he captures the information to enable our engineers to resolve any issues quickly and efficiently.
Jason really enjoys when he is faced with an issue or topic/area that he’s not seen before, as he likes to expand his knowledge to help another customer with a similar issue in the future.
Colman started out as a developer when screens were green and computers filled rooms. Over the years he’s progressed through various IT roles, including Project Management and IT Management.
He currently wears a number of hats related to web design, development, hosting and marketing. He’s a PRINCE2 qualified project manager, and has many years of experience working with website design and hosting on a number of underlying platforms.
As web support specialist at Computer Geeks Colman enjoys taking care of our website hosting, security, maintenance, and support for any issues that require development skills. Colman loves to find the perfect solution to keep customers happy and enjoys working as part of the Geeks team.
After completing an English Literature degree, Sarah began her career in the food industry, working in an array of jobs such as Accounts Admin, Buying and Account Manager. She is also studying part-time for a degree in Nutritional Therapy and while in lockdown she baked lots of sourdough bread!
Sarah joined Geeks in 2020 as an Administrative Assistant, in this role she raises all the invoices, works on accounts admin, queries and anything else thrown her way.
She enjoys the joy of an empty inbox and a reconciled bank account!
