Our new Technical Director – Rob Eeuwens

Please join us in congratulating Rob as it is with great pleasure that we can announce he is now Technical Director of Computer Geeks.

Rob joined the team in 2018 after completing a degree in Forensic Computing, becoming Microsoft MCSA certified and progressing through the various tiers of front-line support, projects, account management and IT technical sales.

While being at Computer Geeks, Rob has shown great passion, dedication and enthusiasm, Rob says: “I’ve always been excited by the ambition of Computer Geeks to devise and support modern IT solutions that provide significant benefits to businesses and their staff.

The first conversation I had with Nick Richards was around the future of SME IT, and the advantages of adopting a cloud-first serverless strategy. It’s been fantastic to be heavily involved in the ongoing development of solutions such as Geeks Cloud and see parts of our conversation unfold, as businesses embrace the cloud and hybrid working.

I’ve also enjoyed working with a fantastic team of professionals, who share the same level of enthusiasm for fixing, supporting, and implementing IT solutions.”

Rob always keeps his finger on the pulse of new developments within the IT industry, ensuring that Geeks keep updated about new IT solutions and services. He is also an enthusiastic advocate about the benefits the right IT solutions can provide for our client’s businesses and really enjoys seeing the transformations to our client’s businesses after helping them to introduce the right changes.

As the Technical Director, Rob will be involved in all aspects of the solution design and sales process and we here at Computer Geeks are excited to see what the future holds.

Commenting on the future of Computer Geeks, Rob says “I hope that through embracing changes and improvements in technology, Computer Geeks will continue to provide solutions which meet the ever-changing IT landscape, and the needs of the businesses we support.

I’m looking forward to seeing our team grow from strength to strength, whilst having the opportunity to make a difference to businesses up and down the country. There’s a lot changing in the world right now and IT services are being accessed in new and exciting ways, I can’t wait to be part of that journey.”
